Oof, that's no good. I feel you. When I lost my previous job I felt no motivation to do anything. Let myself go a little, too. I hope you feel better soon

Welcome back, Maro! Sorry to hear about the job and the fallout. It seems like we may be turning the corner of it all, so I think everything will start getting better. Just gotta keep hanging on and take it one day at a time. It's coming. It's got to!

I wasn't able to get any stimulus because I worked a cash job not an on-the-books job. I'm doing relatively okay, been doodling on my tablet a lot to help with the depression I've been feeling. It's been nice to be able to just... draw again honestly.

The pandemic shutdowns have been the source of depression for everyone. We've finally opened up here. It's like a cloud has lifted! IIRC you're in Canada. Are you still shut down where you are? I know some areas were. If so, it all will have to open soon. Just hold on.

Drawing, being creative, positive stuff, the little things, are food for the soul!

Indeed, in Newfoundland specifically, it's not the lockdowns that has me depressed, I'm honestly all good with everything remaining closed to keep people safe. My depression isn't really shut down related at all honestly.

I'm hoping to keep practicing my drawing and then I'm going to work on doing an animated short eventually.

I don't want to pry, but if you know what's causing your depression, I hope you can get on top of it or find that the cause is temporary. Life's less fun if you're depressed. :(

Which program are you working with for your animation?

It's just how my life is,I have CPTSD so I have very bad bouts of depression that generally don't have a real origin I can pinpoint the cause of, unfortunately.

I'm using clip studio paint at the moment.

Sorry to hear that. They're always improving our understanding and treatments so I hope some new developments come along soon.

I never heard of that program. Looks neat. Please be sure to share your animations when you're ready to!

I've slowly but surely been getting better at handling it, I don't have massive panic attacks as often as I used to which is a plus, it's mostly just the depression side of things that kick my butt these days.

Oh yes it's a very fun program, I've mostly been doodling with it, going to work on animations again eventually

Oh, so sorry for your loss!

Was your cat ill?

I hope the specialist will be able to help. CT scan? Oh no! That doesn't sound good. Now I'm worried...

Thank you, no he was fine and he suddenly was unwell out of nowhere, we did what we could, we don't live near an emergency vet and the regular vet was closed due to it being a sunday. he started perking up and then he just, went.... my boyfriend was holding him when we lost him.

I'm hoping as well, right now he has me on medicine that's usually for people with glaucoma or altitude sickness, of which i have neither. there's swelling in my optic nerves and nobody can understand why, that's why i'm being sent for a ct scan, the specialist is hoping it will be able to show what's wrong so we can avoid doing a spinal tap.

How old was your cat? Was he an indoor or outdoor cat?

Have you been having issues with your vision or was it pain?

I hope you can avoid the spinal tap. Those look uncomfortable, but I understand they're over pretty quickly.

Sending well wishes your way and we'll keep you in our prayers.
