Nope! Feathers weigh more because you also have to deal with the weight of the fact that those poor birds had their feathers removed!

That's gross to think about. But some birds have their feathers plucked to have them regrow for feathers for pillows. Sad.
But contrary to how some believe, shearing goat & sheep for their wool actually helps them. It's like getting a hair cut.
