Breathing is a problem. I wear mine primarily because of complications rather than to keep germs out of my system. My mask frequently does not cover my nose. Covid has been an adjustment, but I'm also rarely in situations were strict covering is necessary because I'm homebound.
I've been wearing a mask pretty much constantly since '18, and I'm not surprised. It takes getting used to, and most people seem to only bother because they are strongly encouraged to wear them or have to rather than wearing one out of choice.
