[ Suggestion ] New site layout

I've been thinking of this for quite some time now. Don't you think it's high time already for Windlyn to have a new look? This includes new background color and site header/banner. Don't get me wrong, the current site layout is fab but giving our beloved Windlyn a new make over would be very great and appealing too. What do you think?

I personally would love to have a white and simple background.

White white or mixed with other colors?
KofK fairly recently changed theirs so it's about 95% white and there are people who can't go on the site for long before it hurts their eyes, forcing them to leave

I think at this point in development, there are far bigger fish to fry, first, so to speak. Something like a color scheme change wouldn't be worth the effort in the grand scheme of things really IMHO. I'd prefer Diana continue work on bringing the other features online so we have more to do/share as I believe that'll have a greater influence on our community than something arguably superficial and sooo subjective. (I agree with Kit that too much white -- or too much any color really -- may not be a good idea.)

Windlyn is still in Alpha. I expect that when we go beta and finally go live, our numbers will get much larger and for those members this will all look new to them.

I agree with Watery Star, the colours aren't very harsh and it's nice. ^^

I find it kind of soothing too. However, it might be kind of cool if it would change to night, sunrise, day, and sunset back to twilight depending on the time of day where you are. Hmmm...

I don't know...I'm kind of partial to the twilight back ground...like I'm going through space to some other world ...and it's kind of soothing and not distracting. Then again, I could spend hours looking up at the stars in the night sky and it reminds me of that.
