Hey, that's great news!

I don't blame them... social media can get out of hand (too much noise) very quickly. I think I may be the exception tho. Hangouts are more my speed because I can check in when I can fit it in while making distance and time zone difference less important.

I didn't want to post on your gallery page in case you were going to post more images ... I didn't see you reserve any spots...and I didn't want to mess it up!

Your strawberries & flowers picture reminds me of the Ann of Green Gables book series ( oh t.v. series as well). I loved reading & watching those.

Gingerale Yeah, they emailed their other social media today and we talked all morning.
galled It’s just a guess, though. I don’t know the actual reason why they left that social media,
Lemon Cheesecake You wouldn’t have messed it up. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to post more images right now. Oh, I love the Anne of Green Gables books! I only read the first 3 and never got around to reading the rest of the series. I love the first and second movies.

Very nice you are reconnecting. Sometimes it is easier to talk than try to write, that way misunderstandings can be cleared up right away.

I meant talking by writing. And it’s the opposite for me - I can’t talk without stuttering whereas when I write and think of my reply, I can express myself more.

Writing does allow a person to compose themselves before pressing "send" for sure.

Nice that you have reconnected .

I loved watching Anne of Green Gables. The remake Anne with an E was pretty good, but was quite different than the original show. I also liked the Emily of New Moon Tv show if you've watched/read that at all. It's the same author.

I loved the movie versions of Anne and Gilbert. I read the first 3 books when I got given to me by my older sister because she thought it was boring and I loved it so much. Anne inspired me so much.

I’m a bit upset because my favourite shirt which reminded me of Anne of Green Gables got tiny snags from getting caught in my clothes rack. They are almost invisible but I can see them close-up. I was thinking of not wearing it anymore because my OCD says it’s horrible but the logical side of me says it’s completely fine and still wearable. I’m also extremely worried because my friend was online, away and offline multiple times the day I did a check-in with them and didn’t respond then stopped coming online the days after and I sent another message this morning saying I was really worried about them. My therapist told me not to send too many messages to them because they probably need to go through whatever they’re going through alone.

You can buy devices that help remove "pills" from clothing.

Listen to your logical side.

Your friend knows you are there for them & you can send a note of encouragement to show your support but don't bombard their inbox or they may feel overwhelmed, at least I would.

Anne and Gilbert? The musical?

Yes, the pacing is "old world" so it's not for everyone, but I find it comfortable and peaceful in it's own way. :)

I'm kind of like that too. If I see a flaw, my focus goes directly to that flaw every single time! I try and see the flaw as being unique (no other one in the world has one exactly like it) and focus on how much I like the item as a whole and remind myself that nothing is flawless (myself included!). Acceptance!

Sometimes the best thing you can do is let a person know you're there for them. It's like addiction or any other issue, they have to ultimately figure things out themselves (with or without help)--the horse to water thing... really kinda frustrating... I like to fix things... or at least try and make them better... :/

Gingerale I will go look for one to repair snags and if I can’t fix it then I’ll just leave my shirt be. Yeah, they are an introvert like me and probably need time and space to process.
galled I want to watch the musical now! :)

Also two birds came into my place yesterday from a crack in my balcony door and I spent a while chasing them out then I opened balcony door today because I was hot and a dragonfly flew in and both times were extremely stressful. ;_;

Very stressful to get birds to fly out once they get in because THEY also start to panic & can start to fly into windows etc.

I have had it happen at work (birds fly into the office0 but fortunately not at home.

we also get lizards come into the office when we leave the door open ... which is not a bad thing because they usually hide ...it is just when you go to step & then realize a lizard is there.... awk
