I love shortbread. They work better with cookie cutters then sugar cookies.
I like them iced but I prefer to eat them plain & I really don't like sprinkles on them.
The other nice thing is that they freeze really well.
Then there are brown butter shortbread which are also good...expensive to buy in the shop though! My co-worker is going to have her Mother make them for the wedding guests. She brought in a sample, they were pretty tasty.
