Work has been killing just about all overtime
I managed nearly half an hour today so that a thing could be finished

Dad took the week off so no carpooling

There are just some people you'll never get along with. Sometimes they're blood. My thoughts are what ever you do, just don't leave something unfinished that you'll regret on your death bed (coulda shoulda woulda stuff). If you've tried to get along, you've tried. There's a point to move on/stop banging your head against the wall.

Are the overtime cut backs seasonal or new company outlook issues?

In regards to reflecting and making steps to forgive, ball's in her court, but she warps things so she's never wrong. Which, as long as I don't have to deal with her, I'm good

They're new. Likely tariff panic because they don't stockpile, they buy as they need it. Even the common-use stuff :facepalm:

Life always seems to have some drama, I try to do the best job I can, be polite whenever I can & avoid the nastiness if I can!

And today someone on first fucked something up so after finishing the order I went into rework and fixed their fuckup and got more overtime out of it! QC was hoping that I hadn't left at three and when he saw me pop up to give him the numbers on missing/incorrect, he was thrilled

Yeah, lead is claiming no idea as to who did them
Computer doesn't say anyone had been on them that day except for me so whoever did them didn't job into it
We think it's one of three: lead, who likely would just have edited the count in a way he has access to, the one who mucked up the inserts and got written up for it (and is otherwise shit at counting), and another coworker who gets force-sidetracked because she can operate a forklift

But the plates we use, they have numbers on the side that correspond with a number on the one item. Most had them small and/or extremely faded, while the ones that had been replaced simply never got the number added. While waiting for QC at changeovers I used one of my wedge tip sharpies to redo all the numbers, nice and big. Turns out the one set of plates isn't numbered but they also have a thick layer of dust so they're defunct anyway
But hey, all the ones we use have the numbers one the sides. Both sides, so it doesn't matter which way they're put in the cubbyholes, you know which is which easily

Didn't have overtime Thursday or Friday but hey i got 50 minutes in, at least

Kinda surprised the nighttime supervisor didn't question me being there so late Wednesday, but considering a couple other things that normally happen that I'm supposed to do (that I only do half the time cuz we have both printers again anyway) got completely overlooked and a particular break that's only two people one of my coworkers took on so I could focus on the rework

Did have another QC problem, four gaskets that were badly made or cut or something. Found three while working, and he went through the rest and found a forth. He's pleased that I keep track and caught them. And no rework because I'm the one who started the order in the first place
