We ended up outpacing the storm on the way home
The one lilac bush decided to split itself in half while we were out, so that was a surprise to come home to. Fortunately, unlike the very dead apple tree that dropped a third of itself, it didn't land in the driveway

It'll have to be cleaned up regardless, but since the top of the driveway is currently full of wood tha needs to get in, even if it had blocked the driveway the car's far below it

Can you use lilac branches as fire wood?

It does alter the flavor, the wood/coal/charcoal you use in BBQ and smoking

I mean, I don't use it, but if you want, you can give me a yellow one so that it seems like you gave them to her. But it's no big deal. You can save that for someone new.
