Normally we are warm but once in awhile we get the rare snow, Texas snow is like Windlyn wings

When we get cold it's usually ice but this time it's actually powder and it's still coming down which is why grubhub and pizza hut won't deliver today and I am hungry, I have food but I kinda wanted pizza but oh well

Wow, how fun! Sorry you can't get take out...but better they be safe if they are unfamiliar with driving in the snow .
Can you make your own pizza? I use the pillsbury crescent rolls for a quick dough, some tomato sauce and if I don't have mozzarella cheese I use Parmesan add some veggies or meat and I put it in the toaster oven about 425 for 10 minutes and it comes out pretty good.

Dang, I only got the one shield. Ok, sounds like you need the bronze bell, spoon. Will send that to you and the other hats.

Passing by here because this reminded me that of the Sothic New Year, where the new year is celebrated when the star Sirius returns to the sky! IIRC this was an Ancient Egyptial calendar - after the new year, they had three seasons with four 30-day months each, plus an extra five days to complete the year.
It's really interesting how different places all over the world counted time!

It really is interesting! I suppose how you measure time would be reflective on what's important to your society. A lunar calendar would be good for an ocean faring society (tides) and a solar calendar would be good for an agrarian society (planting, rain and harvesting cycles).
