I think you heat up a stone cooking surface to cook a pizza on a grill. I have never done that or have seen it, but I guess that's how pizzas were cooked before a modern ovens were developed.

You can cook a pizza by putting it directly on the grill but a pizza stone plate works much better.

I think we will need another barbecue. Portable BBQ will probably work for the veggies and hot dogs.
