Aren't they nocturnal? My mom had one in Russia. Said its scratching kept her up at night.

Yes they are mostly nocturnal. But domesticated ones can be sort of trained to be diurnal (day walkers lol)

Lol! I had 5 as a kid. We ran an animal rescue service and took in a pregnant one who had 3 babies. Their names were, Pooky, Pokie, Sonic, Knuckles, and Mrs. Prickles. Have you ever seen a Chinchilla? They're super cute too!

In middle school we had a class pet cockroach. The hissing kind.

Ooh the hissing ones kinda scare me. I think they're mad at me. Lol I have had just about every animal that you can legally own, and even the non legal ones. Or I've been able to at least pet and feed it. !y mother had a friend who ran an exotic animal rescue. She had an Echidna!!!

It was by itself so it didn't interact with anything. It was just gross. An eyesore.

They are really gross too. We had roaches in our house when I was a kid. We rented out our guest house and the renters brought roaches. They were a creepy biker couple. We called the cops on the husband one night when he was beating his wife so he fed !y cat antifreeze.

My mom had to call the cops to get them kicked out finally. It we lived in Oklahoma and !y mom is white and has two mixed kids and they're not partial to that there
