I raised a Noibat from an egg since I realized it was friendship evolution... It still waited until like level 50.... And I battled with it as much as I could! It was nuts.

I also do Pokemon Amie as well which boosts Friendship up Considerably. XD

Also I just checked the Bulbapedia and Noibatt evolves normally when it reaches lvl 48. Hmmm that is odd then.

Actually poke Amie is something different. It raises more like the loyalty kind of friendship. The kind that helps them in battle. Its great. Your Pokemon can break through paralysis, poison, sleep, hold in the from fainting, etc.

Unfortunately my game died earlier and I lost it. Luckily I had restarted it to begin with so I was on Route 3.

I unplugged the game to move it to plug the Christmas tree in earlier. Then got side tracked with stuff and never plugged it back in. XD
