Maybe they can do a bridge with implants once you are healed up! Something to consider for later. Sorry that it had to happen just before your birthday! Eat a jello cake...still is sweet...what ever you do hope you enjoy your day!

Hey everyone! My uncle, aunt and nan made it out for my birthday and they brought me a cake, I actually was able to eat it thankfully.

Implants aren't covered under my current dental plan but dentures are so that's my plan to get those.

Hope you are feeling better...it takes a few weeks before extractions heal up (you get that achy, sensitive to cold until they are)...so be gentle on yourself. :heart:

I don't have implants, they recommended against it due to my blood disorder and medical history so I'll be getting dentures when I'm all healed up.

Good news is though I saw the dentist for my checkup last week and he said I'm healing up beautifully no issues! ^^

That's good. Keep the positives! When do you get your dentures? Do you have to be completely healed before they can start making them?

They recommended waiting until May because I should be completely healed up and the swelling gone fully by then. No good to get fitted and have them made and then having to get them changed right after.
