There are many ways to garner more activity (engagement). There are endless ways to achieve this, but the most common is posting stuff. Of course subject, presntation, etc., matter. Google would be a great place to learn about boosting online engagment.

Oh, I haven't seen anyone being rude and have not seen any moderation flags. Did I miss something???

I think those corresponding to you have tried to be helpful ... careful with your words so that you aren't offensive & drive people away.

When you lump everyone in as "rude" it does nothing to endear people to you & in calling people rude it does not show courtesy nor reflect well on you.
I am happy to post & chat, as I think others would be, if i feel it is a safe space.
IF you want your thread to go in a certain direction then ask leading questions. But do remember not everyone wants to reveal personal information.
