Like Lemon, I just want to help. I know it's difficult to get your head around it all since what works for me goes against what I've been taught my whole life and the medical and dietary establishment still say today. Well, except for what's been called/labeled "the fringe."
From what you listed as what you ate, there is an overload of carbs there. The bottom line is carbs make you hungry (and they make you fat--which we can get into if you're interested, we can also get into why carb restriction doesn't work as well). But for now just google: "why do carbs make you hungry"
https://www.google.com/search?q=why+do+ ... nt=gws-wizAs for portion control, it's not so much the amount you eat, but what you eat as well. You can eat a lot more of zero carb things and not have it affect you negatively, where just a small portion of high carbs will keep your body in fat storage mode and make you hungry.
Hope this helps and please ask questions if you have any.
