What country are you going to?

I plan on moving to Britain so I can get a midwife education and live there permanently. Plus I have a girlfriend over there and I would like to take more steps of being able to live with her as well. It's going to be hard as nails but I'm excited for it too.

Plus I've always wanted to leave the US, ever since I was little.

Well food is always good at least.

Yup. And it is far easier to do over there than in the US. You have to go to school in the US for about 7 to 8 years to be a midwife while you can do a three year course for free and get a 1000 pound a month allowance over in Britain.

My biggest problem is getting over there because I don't come from money so it''s going to take time and hardship but I'll get it.

but i have nothing special or anything that would want them to accept me D: and apparently its harder than ever to get permission to stay T_T

22. Hardly any jobs here. I've tried everywhere, even Walmart, but no one is hiring. Or probably not looking for someone with zero experience like me. Went to college and this is what I get back, nothing.

Wish I would have just skipped that and went to work. I'd been better off with it right now...

Ryvvi: Yeah it's super hard to get over there. If you aren't going for schooling, or have a job that can transfer you over there, it's pretty hard to wiggle into a area where you can stay and live. I know it takes 5 years, 3 if you marry, of living over in Britain before you can become a citizen.

Yeah, that makes it easier since I can claim domestic reasons. But I wonder how many times that can be claimed too, since in my situation, my other partner wants to move over there too, for similar reasons like me (sans the midwife thing though!).
