The houses here aren't exactly crowded, but they're still pretty close together.

Behind us: horse pasture, then woods
Across the street: field usually used for crops
To the right, facing the street: field, drainage ditch, field, house hidden by trees
To the left: extra large horse pasture, then a small house
So we're pretty well scattered. It's nice

I think it would be fun if you could, and there was no poison oak, then you could build a tree house, climb trees, see wildlife, etc.

Plus the person who owns a lot of the nearby woods is super paranoid about accidents and stuff, so no point in even bothering to ask
