I'd like a three day weekend instead of a seven day week

I thought working 7 days wasn't legal? Isn't your employer required to give you one day off?

And law is one day off every 14 here

What? I have heard of working 10 days but thought they have to give you some kind of a break. Or is that 4 10 hour days?
No day off for 2 weeks seems insane.

They did do they 13 on one off for a while when covid hit. Then someone went to the labor board and went wtf so the company was told to stop that

Well it's 2 from one week and 5 from the next, just all in a row

I once almost had a 9 day week but at the last minute it became 8 days

Either way, not fun

I guess I am lucky ... the most I have is a 6 day work week.

I had ten days at my summer job once
Someone called in and I was the one who responded :')

Thankfully most of the time when stuff like that happened I was already scheduled, I just ended up being there longer

Is that because work is short handed? Seems like the more fatigued a person is the more likely to have an accident.

Bit harder to have a nasty workplace accident when you're retail at a theme park

Haven't had to do a full 12 at my current work, barring the time I was confused to a question and accidentally said yes to one
