Sometimes we have to go places we don't want to but always nice to be back home in our own environment, hope that you get recharged ... reading is a good distraction from the business of life & can exercise our brain.

I like to find the positives in even the worst things--like coming home from somewhere that I didn't have a good experience at makes me appreciate the things that do give me the warm fuzzies. Mindful appreciation for the things you're grateful for is a essential part of living a life worth living as they say.

I was supposed to be on a rest but ended up spending my rest time in pain because of that (and now have to extend my allotted recovering period).

Quite. Makes me look forward even more to their absence from my life, and appreciate people who actually do believe me when I say I had a bad time and don't offer patronizing advice.

For some reason, stores have stopped selling sugar scrubs. I haven't seen any product recalls, but there was that sugar shortage a few months back.

Got some oil infusing in a bunch of dried flowers, which will be strained off in a week and mixed with sugar for a DIY scrub. I'm expecting I'll get enough for 1-2 uses - not much but enough to experiment a bit with the proportions.
