Yes, the only way to get those gravestones is if your pet dies. you can always bring the pet back to life with revival items you can get from shops or other players.

Ashton, I have not figured it out yet - whether I get past items from quitting or new items. I went to Dracula's castle and "quit" and I think that is when I got the Dracula castle background ... but don't quote me on that!!!!

I have been like a gambling addict just pressing the try again button! I have not got the bat's npixelz has yet.

i got to the castle and clicked quit and got that same background as Lemon XD

i also got it previously from completing story so they might be same items or maybe just some are gained from each that make it different like the ticket maybe, I've only gotten it by clicking quit before inserting ticket at beginning.

Typically new items drop as the events go on.

It probably is just that it drops at a certain time and we are reading way too much into it?
Or... could the items be theme related since I did get the redwood background after getting lost in the forest and the gingerbread cookies from the gingerbread house... I think I got faces from dracula's castle...

I never quit and I've gotten older items, so I don't think it matters if you quit. But I do think that each area has their own items. I do think the castle gives you the vampire items. I'm trying to figure out the mansion and the woods (if you don't make it or quit in the woods).

The mansion did give me some pumpkin items, but I'm still trying to figure it out.
