Yep, it would be wonderful! I bet everyone who post on the last day would get a pair, then there would be a few extras floating around for those that had stuff in real life going on.

I suppose though, if they were easy to get that wouldn't make them so rare, or give such a sense of victory when one got them? Maybe we should have to earn them!? Like "angels" earn their wings? Do fairies earn their wings too or are they supposed to be born with them?

Any way, if I set up a wand shop I probably should have a sorting hat section too. Wonder how popular just a hat shop would be? Akuyi's image sale threads have inspired me, I just don't know if I am confident or capable enough to set it all up. I'm still mulling the ideas around in my head, feel free to make suggestions.

Hmm, yeah. That is true.
There are a few things that are to be worked towards: the backgrounds, wings, and a complete set.
So when people get them, they can feel accomplished with each completion.
I would say faeries are born with their wings.
Oooh, that sounds like a neat idea. I would love to see the final results!
Could be like, "Step into Diagon Alley! Find your wants, hats, robes, and other essential wares!" And then each section could be a different type of shop. Olivander's Wands; The Sorting Hat; Double, Double, Toil and Trouble Cauldrons; Wizard Threads (for clothing), etc. ^_^

I am always looking to buy what is on my wishlist, quest thread, but I don't know if I actually set up a shop yet.
