Random new hobby that I picked up, shooting traditional film on a vintage camera! There's a lot of talk about 'going analog' to get away from the phone but quite frankly I'm in it for the film stock colour science.
Also picked up a 10+ year old DSLR, it's pretty clunky compared to modern cameras but I'm learning to work around it. Will post some digital photos when I get the hang of it.
These are FOMAPAN 400

This was 38th exposure on a 36 exposure roll, really like how it just fades out. Image

Here's some Kodak Gold 200

Currently shooting some Colorplus 200, and have a few rolls undeveloped for a 110 camera I borrowed. Finding a lab to develop that has been tricky but I think I'll get them developed this week.

Cool! The most interesting thing about film vs digital is it forces you to consider your shots before taking them (due to expense and physical space). What gets really interesting is when you have a lab that can do custom developing and timings! Keep us posted on your developments! (See what I did there!) :)

Oh definitely. I've been surprised to learn that HK is one of the more accessible places for film photography. Trying to find a lab in my grandparent's town was such a struggle :worry:
I don't think I'll do push/pull film unless I know the roll was under/overexposed but it is nice to know it exists! Some of the results I've seen online are super cool. Will definitely post more pics in here!

We'd pull or push for aestetics (it's less obvious with prints vs projection), but more often to compensate for lack of sufficient light while retaining grain or color characteristics. For outdoor stuff almost anything will work, but playing with exposure is a whole other world. Digital just makes everything so generic.

Looking forward to following your new adventure!
